Police are investigating some online posts that might lead them to a motive for why the Greenwood Park Mall shooter opened fire on shoppers.
Investigators have gotten a hold of screenshots of a post on the website “4chan” that reads “my name is Jonathan and today seems like a good day to die.”
It’s captioned underneath a picture of a Nazi officer getting married.
Police also think he uploaded pictures of himself with his rifles and a tactical vest.
With the three people killed in the shooting being Latino, some are wondering if this is a hate crime.

And? If a biker uploads pictures of himself on this bike in his vest, is that a problem also? How about if someone who enjoys archery posts a pic of their bow? We need to make sure we are not demonizing legitimate gun owners along with the criminals.

What’s the demographics of that mall? There are places in Indiana that you’re going to hit 60% Hispanic just because of probability due to the population makeup.
Hey, now. Let’s not impact the story (narrative) being told here. I also see no mention of the law abiding citizen stopping this shooter with a legal firearm.
If only we could make murder illegal.
I’m not sure about the mall but Greenwood is predominantly white. Also, I don’t think they’re not trying to demonize gun owners, just to say there may be proof that the posts came from that person specifically.
I meant I don’t think that they’re trying to demonize*
