Man arrested after allegedly shooting random vehicles in Calvin Township

A man was arrested after allegedly shooting at random vehicles in Calvin Township.

It happened on Tuesday, July 26,  at 8:45 a.m., when deputies were called to the intersection of Calvin Center Road and Brownsville Street on reports of a shooting.

Officials say that a 46-year-old man got out of his car at the intersection and starting shooting vehicles and objects in the area.

The man left the scene and was later found by police, who say he drew his gun on them.

He was taken into custody.

Anybody with information on the shooting is asked to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
