Man indicted for role in 2021 lethal crash

A man was indicted for his role in the deaths of two men in a crash.

It happened on August 24, 2021 on U.S 30 in Marshall County.

Officials say that 29-year-old Inderjit Singh Sidhu was driving a semi-tractor trailer when he rear-ended the SUV in front of him.

The SUV hit the back of a tanker truck that was carrying hazardous material.

The semi and SUV both caught fire.

19-year-old Patric McGlynn and 21-year-old John Paul David Eckel both died in the crash.

Sidhu was charged with reckless homicide and traffic infractions.

He was indicted and is expecting another hearing on October 4.
