They’re partnering with the United Religious Community for the event.

There will be cultural and historical information, meant to honor refugees from Afghanistan who recently resettled in Michiana.

They’re also recognizing Lock Joint Tube and Techniplas, who have been employing new refugees.

It’s happening at the Main Branch located at 304 South Main Street in South Bend on Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.
