South Bend Police Department collects donations for those affected by eastern Kentucky flooding

The South Bend Police Department is gathering supplies to be donated to those affected by flooding in eastern Kentucky.

Supplies being donated are items including diapers, wipes and children’s toys. Donations will be sent to families going through the recovery process.

ABC 57 News reports that Officer Josh Lawson helped collect the items for his mother, Venita Peterson, who will deliver the donations this week.
