A Nappanee man was sentenced for the killing of a former coworker and shooting another.

It happened on June 6, 2020, when the Nappanee man, 22-year-old Aidan Burkins, was with two coworkers, 45-year-old Thomas Campion and 29-year-old Greg Clark.

The Elkhart Truth reports that the three were drinking and using THC into the night, at Burkin’s trailer park home.

Burkins then shot and killed Campion and shot at Clark. Burkins was convicted in July, for killing Campion and for the attempted murder of Clark.

He was sentenced to 95 years in prison.
