Edwardsburg Public Schools wants voters to approve improvement and upgrades to the schools.

This, after the August 2nd bond proposal failed.

Now, board members unanimously voted to move forward with a new bond proposal for the November 8 ballot.

Leader Publications reports that the new proposal asks for a new K-3rd building, additions to the high school, and combining resources from two schools into the new K-3 building.

The will consist of improving playgrounds, refurbishing, furnishing, and equipping existing school buildings, and more.

The district would need to borrow $56 million for the project, if it is approved.

The problems in our schools is not lack of funding, it is poor spending choices. America spends more per student that most places, with markedly inferior results.

Aside from poor fiscal choices, staff wokeism and the broken nuclear family are the biggest issues. The schools can’t do much for the kids when the parent doesn’t enforce discipline at home.

Vote this DOWN in November! Make them spend money wisely instead.
