A South Bend father has pleaded guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury.

The charges are in connection to the death of Averius Molik’s 6-month-old son more than a year and a half ago.

In January 2021, Asaiah Molik was found unresponsive, lying face-down on the floor. According to autopsy he had at least 23 fractures to his ribs, reports WNDU.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office says the father could face up to 10 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for Sep. 19.

23 fractures.
NEGLECT ???
“up to” 10 yrs?
And yet we’re told to have faith in our “justice system “. How is tht justice? Wth 23 fractures at 6 months old, that poor baby was probly tht monsters punching bag his entire life! NEGLECT?? What in the actual F* ??? The only “neglect” in this case was the prosecuting attorney neglecting to do their job. Even if he’d get the max for this “neglect” he’d b out before that baby would’ve even hit puberty! If someone were to go out and beat another adult to tht degree, resulting in tht person dying, they’d b sitting alot than that. In reality this guy will b out making more babies, or victims, before that babies 5th bday. Justice huh? These r the monsters our prisons were actually made for! How do members of this so called “justice system” sleep at nite?
