Man killed in Benton Harbor shooting

A man was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning.

It happened just after 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, September 11, when police were called to the 900 block of Columbus Avenue in Benton Harbor, on reports of shots fired.

When they arrived, they found an injured 22-year-old Benton Harbor man in a back yard.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No suspect have been announced.

Anybody with information is asked to contact the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety or Crime Stoppers.
