A licensed marijuana event is happening this weekend in Michiana.

High Indotainment is hosting the GOATS of Cannabis Concert at the Cass County Fairgrounds.

Organizers say that the goal is to bring a big-city event to the area and to educate and reduce the stigma surrounding marijuana.

ABC 57 News reports that all first time dispensary customers will be encouraged to be educated on how to use marijuana properly.

The event includes a meet-and-greet with Cheech Marin of Cheech and Chong.

The concert will feature hip-hop artists Redman, Trick Trick, and Dreka.

There will also be celebrity guest judging for vendors throughout the area and fair food will be sold.

Local art and craft vendors will be at the event.

It’s happening on Saturday, September 17, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. for those 21 and older.

Tickets are available at the gate for $50 or for pre-sale online for $20.
