The decommissioned Palisades Nuclear Facility could go back online.

Entergy Corporation closed the plant in may and sold the site to Holtec International in June.

The site is currently being decommissioned, but Holtec says that they plan to give Palisades a second chance.

ABC 57 News reports that the move would increase clean energy production in Indiana and add jobs in Southwest Michigan.

Michigan Governor, Gretchen Whitmer, says that she will do what she can to keep the plant open and protect those jobs.

Holtec says that of the application to reopen the plant is approved, it would take at least a year to get the plant back online.

This single plant is worth all the solar panels and windmills already installed and then some. Stop being lemmings.
