A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Sep. 15. Be mindful of this as you are out on the roads and allow plenty of extra time for your travels if you are in the fog zone. This afternoon is sunny with highs climbing into the low to mid 80s. It may be a bit of a hazy sun, as some smoke from western wildfires makes its way into Michiana’s skies. Tonight is not very breezy, wind around 5 mph, but it may be just enough to hold off some fog formation on Friday morning. It feels like summer this weekend as temperatures continue to climb. There is a chance for a few showers or storms Sunday night into early Monday morning, otherwise rain shouldn’t impact your weekend plans much. It’s still very warm to start next week, with temperatures falling next Thursday on the first day of fall.
