Six people arrested on drug related charges in Elkhart

Six people were arrested on drug charges in Elkhart.

It happened on Friday morning, when police and the Elkhart Regional SWAT Team performed a search warrant in the 200 block of Middlebury Street.

That’s when officials found marijuana and methamphetamine.

Six people from Elkhart were arrested during the search.

43-year-old Carl Gary was arrested on the charges of dealing in methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.

43-year-old Lashawn Whitener was arrested on a charge of visiting a common nuisance.

47-year-old Maria Willis was arrested on the charges of visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.

50-year-old Victoria Gayfield was arrested on the charges of visiting a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

41-year-old Nicole Winings was arrested on the charges of maintaining a common nuisance and possession methamphetamine.

69-year-old Andrew Smith was arrested on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance.
