The Potawatomi Pool may not get repaired.

But, it could be replaced, in a different plan for the park.

The pool closed last summer, after multiple repairs were needed.

The deck was in poor shape, finishes aging, and the pool was loosing 14,000 gallons of water a day.

WNDU reports that the short term plan to fix the pool would cost $2 million.

Instead, the city is going with the $6 million long term plan.

Now, they’re asking the community for patience as they look for ways to invest in the future of the park.

The board plans to have more meetings next year.
