The trial date for the mother of a boy found dead inside a home last fall has been cancelled for the time being.

The LaPorte County boy, Judah Morgan, was found dead inside a home in October 2021.

Officers say that they found the boy in a bedroom, naked, wrapped in a blanket, covered with bruises.

His father, Alan Morgan, is in prison with a 70-year sentence for murder.

His mother, Mary Yoder, was in court of Friday, December 10.

She is being charged with neglecting a dependent and failing to report possible neglect or abuse.

Her trial was set for January 9, but was cancelled on Friday.

Her next court date is now scheduled for February 10.
