Two students in trouble after bringing kitchen knives on board school bus

Two South Bend elementary school students are in trouble after they carried kitchen knives on to their school bus.

It happened on Tuesday morning, Dec. 13, according to a letter sent to parents whose children attend Darden Elementary School.

A student who saw the knives and told a staff member.

The knives were confiscated and both students are being disciplined in accordance with the school corporation’s Shared Rights and Responsibilities, according to school leaders.

There were no injuries.
