A 19-year-old Pendleton, Indiana man and a 17-year-oold boy were arrested after police say they broke into several stores at the Lighthouse Place Premium Outlet Mall in Michigan City.

It was around 11:15 p.m. on Jan. 4, when 911 dispatchers got a burglary alarm from signal from the Polo Ralph Lauren store at the outlet mall.

Several Michigan City Police officers arrived to find the glass in one of the front doors was shattered.

Officers then discovered articles of merchandise from Polo Ralph Lauren and Adidas in the mall parking lot.

Some officers recovered the merchandise while others searched the immediate area for suspects.

Q’Marion Fisher, 19, of Pendleton and a 17-year-old juvenile were caught, red-handed, with stolen merchandise on the mall property. The two took off on foot when confronted by police but were eventually arrested. A third suspect fled the area but was not found.

Officers checked the other stores at the mall and discovered that Adidas was also burglarized.

Fisher and the juvenile were arrested for two counts of burglary, two counts of participation in criminal organization and resisting law enforcement.

The juvenile was transported to the LaPorte County Juvenile Services Center while Fisher was transported to the LaPorte County Jail.

Police are also investigating a burglary that occurred at the Finish Line store at the mall which took place on Jan. 3, but evidence obtained from Finish Line, Polo Ralph Lauren and Adidas support these burglaries are connected.
