Marshall County man crashes into swamp area

A Marshall County man has been arrested after crashing into a swamp area.

It happened at around 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 15, on 13 Road, west of US 31.

Police were called on reports of a single vehicle crash.

When they arrived, they found a Dodge pickup truck half submerged in the water of the swamp area.

ABC 57 News reports that the driver, Christopher Brauneker of Argos, had a blood alcohol limit of over three times the legal limit.

He was taken to the Marshall County Jail on charges of operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more, and driving while suspended, prior.
