St. Joseph County Health Officer Dr. Bob Einterz will be stepping down at the end of March.

The physician told The South Bend Tribune that there were instances of harassment coming from commissioners, and says the role of the department in the county has become “political.”

Dr. Einterz has been in the Health Officer role for 3 years, and leaves at a time when the board has both a new president and vice president. The Board of Health will be tasked with nominating his replacement.

WSBT reports there is speculation that current Deputy Health Officer Dr. Mark Fox could temporarily step into the role.

Locking everyone down due to a scamdemic and then lying about the effectiveness of masks and vaccines seems to be a matter of politics, not science. To support those actions is the epitome of politics over science, and then to whine about things turning political is the ultimate lack of self awareness.

Good bye Bob, you will not be missed.
