Humane Society of Elkhart County reports urgent need for pet food pantry donations

Humane Society of Elkhart County

The Humane Society of Elkhart County is urgently looking for pet food assistance.

They’re looking for any brand cat or dog food.

The humane society provided food for over 925 animals in the community last year, helping them to remain in their homes. However, they currently have no food available to fill the daily assistance requests they are receiving.

Community donations help keep animals from being surrendered and help them remain in their homes with their families where they belong.

Food donations can be ordered through online stores or dropped off at the Humane Society of Elkhart County, or monetary donations can be restricted for the pet food pantry on their website.

Here’s a link to their website with more information: https://elkharthumanesociety.org/wish-list/.

I think everyone can afford $20 for a bag of food to help out. Its too bad that pet owners are struggling to feed their pets. I would always find a way to make that happen! Even if I had to sell a kidney.
