A South Bend man was arrested in Marshall County on a number of charges Monday morning.

Those charges include possession of methamphetamine, driving white H-T-V, identity deception, possession of false government identification, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

It was around 1 a.m. when a deputy pulled over a driver in the area of U.S. 31 and 14th road.

ABC 57 News says that K-9 Officer Bear conducted a free air sniff during the stop and smelled marijuana or narcotics in the vehicle.

The driver allegedly falsely identified himself to deputies but was later identified as Jason White, who reports say is a habitual traffic violator.
