Governor Eric Holcomb has proclaimed February 11 as Indiana 211 Day.

It’s to recognize 211, which is a free resource, available to all Hoosiers to get help with food, health care, housing, utilities and more.

There are no eligibility requirements or income standards.

Organizers behind 211 says most Hoosiers don’t realize that they can call for everyday info like where to take their child for screenings, how to find job training, or to find free tax filing support.
