The City of South Bend will host a series of monthly Nonprofit Workshops for nonprofit organizational leaders and the public, beginning with a Project Management series on February 9th at the Technology Resource Center starting at 10 a.m.
This is a 3-month series, with the last workshop happening in April. Each workshop will be held on the second Thursday of the month and will last up to an hour and a half. February’s workshop, “Exploring Project Management Tools,” will focus on project management tools that are used to efficiently manage project workflow. The session will introduce participants to techniques for efficiently managing complex project work, methods to streamline multiple tasks, and ways to make the most of limited time to complete projects.
The TRC strives to democratize technology in our region, and partners with community organizations across the City and county to organize impactful events and serve as a launchpad for new initiatives, such as the Nonprofit Workshop series. TRC programming focuses on increasing access to knowledge about technology and data, developing skills, and co-building an inclusive tech future for South Bend.
All Nonprofit Workshops are hybrid, with in-person events at the TRC with a virtual link provided. This event is open to the public and free to attend.
