A Niles man admitted to stealing a car.

And now, he’s been sentenced to 16 months to five years in prison.

42-year-old Jason Ray Tolley of Niles pleaded guilty to unlawfully driving away an automobile on Dec. 5.

Leader Publications reports that Tolley also pleaded guilty to violating his probation from an earlier sentence, which was for stealing a financial transaction device.

He also has to pay $1,400 in fines and could have more based on the value of the car.
