The mass shooting at Michigan State University has schools like I.U. rethinking a few things as far as making sure they are prepared if something like that happens on one of their campuses.
IUPD is in charge of policing all nine of Indiana University’s campuses throughout the state.
IUPD chief Jill Lees says they have been rolling out free self defense classes to students following the pillars of “run, hide, fight.” She said these days students need to know what to do in any situation in the event of an active shooter on one of their campuses.
