A South Bend man was arrested after allegedly trying to escape from the Marshall County Courthouse during a sentencing hearing.

31-year-old Devonte Gunn was previously sentenced to 60 days in jail, before trying to leave the courthouse.

Police say that after Gunn ran from the courthouse he was booked into the jail for the contempt case, resisting law enforcement, and escape.
