Firefighters find two children, dead, while battling house fire in Benton Harbor

Two young children died in a house fire in Benton Harbor.

The blaze broke out around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, at Britain Avenue and Columbus Avenue.

Crews arrived to find three adults and four children out of the home. They entered to search for other trapped individuals ato find a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old, dead, inside.

The people who got out of the home were taken to the hospital for treatemnt.

There is no word about the cause of the fire.
