Notre Dame drops COVID booster requirement for next school year

(Tommie Lee/MNC)

The University of Notre Dame has rescinded its COVID-19 bivalent booster requirement.

Tuesday the school sent an email to students informing them that Notre Dame will no longer require undergrad, graduate and professional students to receive the COVID booster as a condition for enrollment for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The Observer reports that the decision was made after an ongoing review of the latest medical information, and input from University stakeholders.

“the decision was made after an ongoing review of the latest medical information”

Even when this was announced everyone with a brain knew it was bunk. The “latest” medical information is the same as it was two years ago, unless you believe the Faucis of the world.

It’s too late anyway, the damage is already done. Lots of Domers with cardiac issues incoming in the next 5-10 years…
