Starting Friday, the two loop ramps from Niles Buchanan Road to U.S. 31 will close, permanently.

Officials with the Michigan Department of Transportation say they’re closing due to rebuilding and maintenance costs.

Drivers can still access both roads using the four other ramps at the interchange.
