Wakarusa man killed in motorcycle collision

A Wakarusa man was killed in a crash involving two motorcycles.
The collision happened around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, at the intersection of Pierce and Cedar roads near Wakarusa.
The initial investigation found that a motorcycle driven by 29-year-old Zachary Loudin of Wakarusa and a motorcycle driven by a 24-year-old Osceola man were westbound on Pierce Road when they collided near the intersection with Cedar Road. Loudin was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
His passenger, a 24-year-old woman from Osceola, was taken to the hospital for serious injuries.
The two people on the other motorcycle were also hurt. Factors into the crash remain under investigation by the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team.
