Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputies they were called to CR 800 West, just north of CR 850 North around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 12.

Initial reports show that a utility truck was headed northbound on CR 800 West while following a dump truck. The dump truck passed a buggy, with the utility truck continuing north and striking the back of the buggy.

The driver of the utility truck was uninjured in the crash.

  1. Without a doubt he was following to close. People wake up! Start driving responsibly and treat others w respect on the road. God rest her soul.

  2. I see too many careless accidents in Michiana. The number one cause is following too close, going too fast, and not paying attention. Stay off the damn phone when operating a motor vehicle. Thank goodness horses haven’t learned how to text and be connected to a buggy at the same time.
