Veteran Indiana State Trooper sentenced to jail time for misdemeanor battery

A veteran Indiana State Trooper has been sentenced to 60 days in jail and ordered to pay court costs for misdemeanor battery.
Michael Meiser pleaded guilty to sniffing a female coworker and forcibly shoving her head towards his groin, accompanied by a remark about earning money.
The incident took place during firearms training in 2022, witnessed by multiple instructors, and Meiser was subsequently removed from the Indiana State Police force.
