Health officials warn about Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever

It’s not just Lyme disease that health officials are warning residents about during tick season.
They’re also warning about Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever during the upcoming months, though Lyme disease is more prevalent in the norhtern part of the state.
They say early detection and timely medical intervention are crucial as Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever can be fatal, and both diseases are treatable when caught early.
