Woman struck by stray bullet while at New Carlisle graduation party

A stray bullet struck a woman at a graduation party a couple weeks ago.

It happened in New Carlisle when a woman noticed something had torn through her clothes and broke through her skin.

The victim reportedly left New Carlisle and returned home in Ohio before realizing she had been shot.

While having the infected wound cleaned by a doctor, the bullet was found still lodged in her hip.

According to ABC 57, police were notified of the incident on May 10, but there are currently no leads.
