Paxlovid has been given full FDA approval to fight COVID-19.

You’ve no doubt seen commercials for the drug Paxlovid. Now, after a year of emergency use to fight back against COVID, the drug has been given full approval by the Food & Drug Administration.

More than 11 million prescriptions of the drug were written since late 2021 when the Pfizer medication started being used.

The FDA approval is for use by adults with high risk factors, and allows Paxlovid to stay on the market indefinitely.
