A local zoo has a lot to celebrate, as it welcomed a new baby last week.

A two-toed sloth was born on Tuesday, May 23, at the Potawatomi Zoo, according to the South Bend Tribune.

The baby is currently about the size of a grapefruit.

Its mom, Tofu, “seems to be doing a great job already,” stated zoo officials.

You can get tickets for the Potawatomi Zoo at www.potawatomizoo.org.
