Three people injured in shooting at Benton Township Park

Crime Scene Do Not Cross Signage

Three individuals were hurt in a shooting at Benton Township Park.

The shooting happened early Sunday morning, May 29.

Police responded to the 450 block of Zollar Drive, where they found a 22-year-old man from South Bend, a 19-year-old resident from Dowagiac, and a 20-year-old man from Coloma who were injured.

The Coloma man underwent surgery after being taken to the hospital.

The other two victims were treated and released.

So far, there is no word about any suspects or information about what led to the shooting.
