A Penn Harris Madison school bus was involved in a crash with an SUV at the intersection of Buckeye and Douglas.

The collision happened on Thursday afternoon, June 1.

The bus had just finished its bus route for Horizon Elementary and the bus was on its way to Penn High School. There were no students on board at the time of the crash.

The occupants of the SUV were treated at the scene and at least one person was transported to the hospital.

The driver of the bus did not require medical treatment.
