South Bend Mayor appoints new Diversity and Inclusion Officer

South Bend Mayor James Mueller announced his appointment of Cynthia Simmons-Taylor as Diversity and Inclusion Officer.
Simmons-Taylor has devoted the last 26 years to public service for the City of South Bend and currently serves as Director of 311 Customer Service which she helped to staff and implement the City’s first 311 Call Center.
Prior to working for 311, she was a Legal Administrator, Utility Customer Service Manager, Human Rights Commission Housing Investigator, Real Estate Broker (currently), and Business Owner.
Cynthia is also a wife, mother and grandmother and has a passion to assist others in career development.
She starts her new post on June 5.

I’d sure like to see the job description, duties and measurable s used in the evaluation of this employees performance. It would be an awesome concept if the people who elect the mayor could also determine whether or not this is even a position that taxpayers should be funding.

The City of Sad Bend is the San Francisco of Michiana. Growing city’s government, increasing taxes, creating the extreme woke agenda, and giving criminals an easy pass.
