The man accused of killing two girls in Delphi in 2017 is trying to prevent his jury from seeing evidence that’s been subpoenaed from the Westville Correctional Center, and CVS, which is his former employer.
Richard Allen and his legal team have filed a motion to quash the subpoenas and that motion will be heard June 15. That date had been originally set for a bail hearing, but the special judge in the case converted it to a hearing for Allen’s motion to suppress the evidence.

This POS needs to get the death penalty as soon as possibly. If these were my kids I would be judge, jury, and executioner of this POS no jail time at all for him at all!!!
I don’t know that it would be a great idea to “squash” the subpoenas!! I get the whole fair trial bit but 2 young ladies were murdered and both families deserve justice!
Suppressing evidence means he has something to hide.
All evidence should be shown. It’s up to the defense to discredit the evidence, not to hide it.
That’s right Charles, absolutely all available evidence needs to be on the table. Squashing subpoenas and striking motions and so forth is nothing more than tailoring a case to hide guilt.
Lawyers doing what lawyers do…it’s a pestilence of pettifoggers.
I do know the system sucks and there needs to be some overhauling in the law!
I am dealing with a situation myself and as soon as things get taken care of, I am going to find somebody to listen to protect children in different situations. All I can say for now!
