Indiana Michigan Power reminds people to be weather ready

Indiana Michigan Power is reminding people to be weather ready.
With last weekend’s storms behind us, and more storms on the horizon, it’s important to be prepared.
I&M says to find a shelter or safe space in the  event of severe weather.
While a storm shelter or basement is safest, if those are not available, a small, windowless interior room can be used.
They also recommend having a disaster supplies kit ready, to always remain alert of weather changes, and to never touch any downed power lines or anything that could be touching them.
