It’s with law enforcement agencies across the country.

The Night Out Event will happen on Aug. 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Central Green in downtown Elkhart.

The police department says that there will be free food, inflatables, animal encounters, a K9 demonstration and more.

National Night Out happens annually, to promote a police-community partnership and make neighborhoods safer.
