A Peru, Indiana man will likely spend about three decades in prison for producing child pornography.

40-year-old James Rippy pled guilty to the production of child pornography, according to the Department of Justice.

Police say he took sexually explicit pictures and recorded similar videos of a child. He also downloaded other explicit images from the internet.

After prison, Rippy will face another five years of supervised release.
