(95.3 MNC)
The battle of the campaign bucks in Michigan has been leaning towards Republicans so far.
GOP legislators in the state are outraising Democrats in the fight for majority in the 2024 election.
Senate and House Republicans received a funding boost after former Governor Rick Snyder and philanthropist Bill Parfet led a renewed fundraising effort.
Bridge Michigan reports that GOP caucus funds brought in 1 point 7 million dollars between April 21st and July 20th, pushing the total to 4 point 4 million. Democrats took in one and a half million during that time, coming in just under 4 million dollars for the year.
