Chikaming Township shooting a result of road rage

Police in Michigan’s Chikaming Township say a shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon was the result of road rage.
Police say they responded to an incident on Union Pier Road around 4:15 pm and found a victim with non-life-threatening injuries.
WSJM reports the incident began on I-94 in New Buffalo.
Two vehicles exited the highway at Union Pier Road and shots fired.
The victim was hit in the shoulder before the suspect fled back onto the interstate. He was arrested near mile marker 34 and charged with assault with intent to commit murder.
