Two men arrested in Warsaw, after shooting

Two men were arrested after an allegedly shooting each other in Warsaw.

It happened around 7:15 p.m. on Monday, July 31 in the 400 block of W. Porter Street. Police were called on reports of shots fired. They say that there was a confrontation between two people.

Police say that Jose Avila Jr fired multiple shots and hit the vehicle of David Castillejo Jr. Officials say that Castillejo left the scene to later return and fire shots at Avila.

Both men were arrested on charges of criminal recklessness with a firearm. Additional charges are being reviewed by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.

I’m sure the Kosciusko County prosecutor will be a lot tougher than the St. Joe County, Indiana prosecutor. South Bend criminals get off lite and they are back on the streets.
