Benton Harbor men sentenced after January deadly shooting

Two Benton Harbor men have been sentenced after a deadly shooting in January.

Denarion Evans and Charlie Little Jr will spend 20 to 60 years in prison.

WNDU reports that the two men had previously pled guilty to second-degree murder of Leon “Red” Johnson in his home on LaSalle Street on Jan. 21.

Police say that the two men, along with Immanuel Williams Jr, went into Johnson’s house to steal money or marijuana.

Williams was found guilty of first-degree felony murder last month. He has a sentencing date set for Oct. 9.
