A busy month is expected when the House returns to work in September.

According to Congressman Bill Huizenga, the House is on break for the summer, yet they haven’t passed needed spending bills.

The Congressman told WSJM that there’s a lot of work to do to get spending in place for the government before it runs out, and he expects a rush once the House returns from the break.

He says he was hoping to get a veterans affairs bill done before leaving, but that it will be another bill that needs to be tackled in September.

The Congressman even says the Senate has worked faster than the House, which has never happened during his time in Congress.
