A man has been charged in connection with a road rage incident that led to shots being fired at Indiana State Representative Jake Teshka.

52-year-old Edmande Hill was found guilty of attempted battery and three counts of criminal recklessness.

It happened on Dec. 8, 2021 on the Bypass in South Bend.

That’s where Teshka reported that his vehicle was hit by gunfire as he was driving. Both of his young children were in the vehicle.

Before the shots were fired, Teshka says that the suspect was driving erratically.

Teshka suffered from non-life-threatening injuries from the shattered glass.

His children were not hurt.

Hill will be sentenced on Aug. 30.
