Michigan cracking down on fraudulent unemployment benefits filings

Michigan’s Unemployment Insurance Agency has successfully thwarted around 10,000 fraudulent benefits filings.

The agency credits its robust anti-fraud tools, which effectively prevented any funds from reaching the fraudsters.

WSJM reports that during the past month, there was an alarming surge in attempts to create unemployment benefit claims, lasting for eight consecutive days.

These criminals utilized stolen personal information from both Michigan residents and individuals across the country to fraudulently claim benefits in multiple states. However, the Unemployment Insurance Agency’s proactive approach, combining proprietary anti-fraud software and cross-referencing national databases to verify claimant identities, effectively foiled their attempts to file illegitimate claims.

Anybody who gets a notification from the UIA about a claim made using their name can report the fraudulent activity here: www.Michigan.gov/UIA. or by calling the Office of Employer Ombudsman at 1-855-484-2636.

Hello illegal immigration.

These people have no corollary to the Europeans who came to an unsettled land to create a civilization, they are just coming here to be freeloaders and signing up for welfare. They are leaches on working society.

If they want the benefits of a successful republic they should go home and make one too.

You’re going to be labeled a racist for noticing that truth.
